S&H Training Center offers a wide array of DSHS approved courses for caregivers, including: the 75-hour Home Care Aide training program, population specific training on Dementia, Mental Health, Diabetes, and Traumatic Brain Injury, as well as Nurse Delegation Core, Nurse Delegation Diabetes, and Continuing Education Units. Many of the courses are available online or via zoom. All hands-on skill classes are taught and evaluated in-person to ensure competency. We are expanding and now offer many of the training programs not only in Olympia but across Washington. We train caregivers to work in home care, adult family homes, assisted living facilities and memory care facilities.
